Jaldoot is one of the most important programs undertaken by Sevavardhini. Over the past 8 years, Sevavardhini has trained and enabled about 100 Jaldoots (volunteers) in water management. They come from 40 voluntary organizations and over 25 districts of Maharashtra.

During and after their participation in the program, the Jaldoots have done phenomenal work in ensuring water safety and sustainability in their own native villages. Many have gone even beyond and are now positively impacting other villages through similar initiatives on their own. They have now truly become the “water messengers” – far exceeding our expectations.

Jaldoot 2.0 (2019-2023), is a continuation of this program. It received generous support from Atlas Copco (India) Ltd. Sevavardhini has partnered with over 20 other voluntary organizations, 3 universities, many distinguished experts, and various government departments. In spite of the turbulence caused by three severe COVID-19 waves, unseasonal rains, catastrophic flooding in many parts and many other challenges, the project has succeeded in creating a lasting impact.

Sevavardhini is inviting donors, supporting partners and all well-wishers to the closing ceremony of Project Jaldoot 2.0.

The program is scheduled on 18th March 2023 at 10.00 am at YASHADA Pune.

All the Jaldoots, village representatives from all over the state, representatives of partner organisations and water management experts will participate in the program.

We request you to please mark your calendar for this event and grace the occasion with your presence.
