Maniktai Damle from Sevavardhini helped facilitate the NSS Maitri Shibir organized by Fergusson College NSS group

 

Sevavardhini team is always excited to leverage any opportunity that builds a sense of service or 'Seva' with youth. At the inaugural event of 'Maitri Shibir' organized by Fergusson College NSS, Sevavardhini facilitator Manik tai, encouraged students to design their 'friendship goals' . Students explored the questions 'can we as friends build an intention to work for a purpose beyond ourselves? As friends, how can we come together to make the world better? As friends, how can we build the intent to make the next two days meaningful? Which personal quality can we showcase in next two days? " Group discussions, presentation, slogan making brought in energy. Intention setting and sharing is a powerful facilitation method. Students engaged with great focus, with no-one looking into their mobiles for 2 hours . Isn't that the best indicator of engagement?
